Hey guys,

Sorry for my first forum post being a request-for-tech-support post, but I'm kind of stumped as to what is holding my starter in place. I need to remove it.

The engine in question is a Suzuki DT75; its on a Cobia that I just picked up. Not sure what year it is, but there is the number 810985 stamped on a metal ID tag on it.

I included some pics if anyone needs them for reference. From what I can tell, there are only two bolts holding that starter to the bracket, and I have removed them both. The starter is still refusing to budge, save the tiny amount I can move it by prying on it with a screwdriver. It almost feels like there is a 3rd bolt holding it somewhere, but I can't see one.

Any advice is definitely appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Well, I think I answered my own question. The manual I was looking at online didn't show it, but there is a 3rd bolt on the opposite end of the starter. I found it by looking at photos of one on eBay.
