Suzuki outboard fuel leak?

Hey all,
I just inherited my grand-dad's old duracraft fishing boat. It has an early 80's suzuki DT9.9. I was ripping out the old seats today (my grand-dad built custom seat brackets) to replace them with new ones from Bass Pro, and I noticed it dripping gas. Looking carefully, it seems to be coming from below the prop, and there's a nut there. You can see the bubble clearly in the pic.
What's the problem, guys? I've worked on cars for most of my life, but boats are a bit different. I'll get there, but right now, I'm a certified noob.

Well the fuel must obviously leak from the carb or the fuel line and run all the way down the leg .... take the cowling off and squeeze the bulb and look around where the fuel is leaking, it is most likely a stuck needle pushing the fuel out the carbs ....

How would one go about "unsticking" the needle? Would you have to completely break down the carb and install a replacement carb kit or is there a simpler way?
