My 2000 Suzuki 100hp outboard will die on throttle up if you idle it too long. Will work fine if I keep engine at 2000rpm's or above. Lately it also has been killing every time i put it in reverse. I've had it in the shop, they tell me this motor is notorius for rough idling and that it works fine for them. What is the proper idle speed for it? maybe it's loading up?
