yes but not very efficiently.
if the trolling motor is 24 or 36V then make sure you use the already there battery isolator lead on the + and- terminals of the same battery or the regulator will go poof.
under the engine hood,in the pan, you will find a 10Ga lead with a black plastic cap.
that is the battery isolator lead.
must be fused at the battery with a 50 amp fuse.
the lead from the engine to the battery is avalible at a yamaha dealer.
