Hello, I have an 84 Yamaha 150 outboard and this year when we started it there is a steady stream of oil running out below what looks like an intake manifold which is just in front of the carburetors. Any idea what is causing this? I might add that it doesn't seem to run out with the key on, just when you start the engine. And looking inside the bottom of this air intake manifold there is oil in the bottom of it. Reading other posts I've seen talk of a "controller shorted or the tank sensor bad". Any ideas of how to fix it (I am not an outboard motor mechanic but do have some ability) or do I just need to take it to a repair shop or dealer?
