Hi, I have a 99 evinrude skin, suz. 40 hp 4 strk fuel inj motor. It came into my shop for repair. Found out the hi press. fuel pump was locked up from water and rust in VS tank. Rebuilt tank with new pump, regulator, all filters, inlet needle, etc. Now it runs which is a big improvement, but is hard to start and spits back through the intake and shutters. When it finally smooths out it idles on 3000rpm. I didn't mess with any sensors or anything. I don't know what is going on and I may need to buy the software from BRP. I have the laptop cable for Ev. or Suzuki diagnostics and the Manual. Everything ia hooked up and don't see any lines off. Any Ideas? Thanks, John,
