Yamaha 115 ETLJ Oil Injection overflow/Nothing past 2000rpms

I have a Yamaha 115 ETLJ (86 I believe). I am having a number of issues that I was hoping for some help with. First and foremost the remote oil injection is now working but does not seem to read from the sensor. Everytime I turn the key it fills up and overflows. I am not sure if anyone else is having that issue?
Also I took it out for a test drive today and the motor is not going above about 2,000rpms. It seems to drop immediately to 1,000rpms or lower as soon as I try to get it above that 2000 mark. It also seems to be kicking up and down on its own a bit. I checked/changed spark plugs and that wiring which seems to be good. I am not sure what else it could be. Any suggestions?

Hi, I have the same issue with the overflow not stopping as the oil continues to flow from the overflow tube.

Have you been able to resolve this?
