Hi folks,
Alarm on my outboard sounded today while i was out and after reading up a bit i am going to try replacing the thermostat and the impeller. Pee stream was cold when running on rabbit ears but as soon as i put the motor in gear at idle speed alarm came on and pee stream got HOT.
Picked up the parts i needed today but in double checking parts numbers i found that the impeller i was given is not a match. Appears to be a part # for a 90hp model as well as other years/sizes. Part i was sold is 688-44352-03.
Question is can i still use this part?
