Hello, I just bought a 04 sea chaser with a yamaha 50TLRC 2stroke. I went to start it up and as soon as I turned on the key the buzzer started going off. One long buzz.
I have been reading and checked the oil level sensor and that is working and I checked the Thermo switches and they are working. The person I bought it from said they used the boat twice and never had a problem. It was sitting for a year in their back yard so I cleaned the carbs and the tank. (Spotless) New spark plugs. I ran it and it seems like there is a rev limiter on. That would be the CDI? Please help!!!! Thanks!
