Hi, I have a 1997 Suzuki 9.9 4 stroke. What I am wondering is if it can be changed to a 15HP by swapping the carb? From reading the specs they are both 302cc engine size, almost every past is exactly the same. Is this possible or not worth the hassel? Has anyone done this?
Also, off topic...I am new to this forum & new to Suzuki. Is there a reason that Suzuki & Yamaha are in the same category? I thought they were completely separate. I know Suzuki made the Johnson 4 Strokes but was not aware of anything with Yamaha.
