My DT55 has had all three carbs rebuilt, compression tested at 100psi per cylinder, new plugs, fuel and installed a water seperator. The engine will start up and idle excellent. Once you put a load on it (Putting in gear) the engine will stall right away. Does anyone have any knowledge on the problem or have had this problem before?

The boat has been at a local repair shop for over a month. They keep going back to the middle carb as the problem. I think is has to do with something else.

If there is good compression and spark then I would be looking at fuel also.

They might be concentrating on the middle carb because the throttle position sensor is mounted to it's shaft. Retarded timing could be your problem but it's pretty easy to check so I don't know why your shop has kept it for a month. That model should have a 4 position switch under the hood to raise the idle rpm, (advances timing), did you happen to try that before taking it in to the shop?
