2008 Yamaha F150TXR 20 hour service

This is my first outboard on my first boat, but I've been doing my own service on my waverunner with no problems. I'd like to do my own service on the outboard and save some $$$. How hard is it? The manual lists a number of steps they recommend that a dealer do, but the dealer steps all look like inspection of various areas. Do it myself or pay the man? If I do it myself what do I need to document to avoid messing up the warranty?

I'd also appreciate any tips for doing it right.

keep all reciepts of oil and filter purchases.
keep a log book of what was inspected and how the inspection was done.
dont sweat the yamaha warrenty much, they are very generous so far.
