1999 Suzuki 150 efi 2 stroke

Hi my 1999 suzuki 150 did some weird stuff the other day and I need some help with it. when advancing the throttle to come up on plane the engine acted like someone had pulled the kill switch but then started running and then cut out again. It does this three or four times and finnaly runs fine.
It almost seems like an electrical issue that is causing it to lose all power.

Any thoughts.

Check the connections at the kill switch to make sure they are not corroded or loose. Had that same thing happen to my last motor and that was the cause.

had a similiar sounding problem. I bought some plugs at west marine and they told me non resistors would work fine . They didn t . They mess with the efi. I changed the plugs to resistor and motor ran fine Good Luck
