I have a 97 200 yamaha My hydraulic steering has leaked down at the cylinder
My steering is loose Is this cylinder repairable and if so how hard is it to fix this problem. Thanks Prt364

its not Yamaha.
either post a picture of the cylinder or carefully inspect it for a part number.
Yamaha did not make the steering.
can it be repaired? depends on where its leaking and why its leaking.

It looks like it is a seastar Il is leaking from both ends where the rods come out looks like a seal

if the shaft inst pitted,nicked or otherwise damaged then yes the seals are replacable.
you will need the seal kit with the spanner wrench.
