whats wrong with my suzuki 30 hp

I have a 1990 or 1991 Suzuki DT30, triple cyl engine, short shaft. At idle it seems to run alright, but at a slow speed it wants to stall, engine chugs, etc.., crack the throttle open, it bogs for a second, then takes off like a scared rabbit,and runs great at wide open throttle. Any ideas what I should do?

sounds like fuel delivery, carbs are probably dirty. try enrichening with carb clean when its stalling or hesitating. if it picks right up its a fuel problem
