16 hp suzuki pee hole

16 hp suzuki no water at pee hole changed impeller still no water. ran water up the tube when lower unit was off water came out pee hole the old impeller was chewed up is it stuck in block? if so how do i get it out?

Check for rubber in the thermostat housing. If the pick up tube is stopped up you have to pull the powerhead. Is it running hot or just not peeing? Did you replace the plate and housing? Look for wear on either, make sure you dont need the rubber grommet that slides down on top of the pump housing. Or gasket leaking under housing. Maybe put the lower unit in a drum of water, and spin it with a cordless drill to see if it is sending water to the motor or pull thermo housing and crank engine to see if you are sending water.
