This outboard is a salt water series, but it has been used in fresh water for the last 3 years. Normally I add stabilizer to the fuel, run out the fuel in the engine, and fog the engine for winter storage. It sits outside exposed to the winter. Recently, I've read suggestions about running RV antifreeze thru the engine, whereas I would just store it vertically, after changing the lower unit oil. This salt water series has a "flush hose connection" on the port side of the upper engine area. I thought that this was primarily for flushing out the salt water with fresh water. Since I have no manual, I hoped that someone out there who has a manual, would tell me whether I'm to use that side flush connection to run antifreeze through the engine. Thanks, John
