I have just bought a 30 hp Yamaha 2002 model. 30 DMH .
It seems in pretty good condition, But I'm afaraid the tilt tube is siezed.
The tilt lever operates freely, as do the mechanisms it is attached to.
I cannot get the motor to tilt up.
I have showed it to the dealer, and he suggests it is siezed.
He said that applying heat should free it up, but I'm worried about the plastic bushings, etc.
I'm sure others have been in this situation. Any ideas that will help ???
