anyone know if the 88-2000 motor will fit a 85-87 i have a 85-87 DT85 with a bad starter. they look the same. just wondering why the big price difference and easy availability for the 88-2000 motor. would just swapping the teeth of my old starter onto the newer starter work? and also ,does anyone know where i can get it rebuild? seeing what options i have other than 550 bucks.
