Suzuki 100 hp 1999

This engine starts idles and runs perfect above 2800 rpm but when shifted from n to for or rev the engine runs very uneven. The timing change is what is causing this situation. I need to know what the timing degree is correct so I can check for accuracy. There is also a rod attached to a roller and detent on the lower carb that is not on prior 100 hp models.
