I have a 1998 150hp yamaha. When I turn the key to the on position the warning buzzer comes on. I know that it is not over heating because I have'nt started the motor. I unplugged the the connection that goes to the oil level gage assembly and turned the back on and the buzzer stopped after a few seconds, but when I plug it back in it starts again. I think it might be a bad oil level gauge but I also want to make sure that my oil pump is working just to make sure. Is there any way to see if the oil pump is working?
