Anyone have the idle screw settings for this motor. Carbs were rebuilt before I bought it. The manual I have does not have the settings, that I can find. Motor runs great, just a little shake and shimmer at about 800-1000 rpm in gear, coming off of idle. I have cleaned it up some by screwing in about a 1/4 turn on the bottom 2 carbs. I would like to get it right, by starting at the beginning and do all 4 correctly, just would like to know the correct starting point.

Thanks,

Lucky

Anyone?

I am trying to get my carbs adjusted properly but do not know the initial number of screws outward to start off with. (My idle is a little rough- Carbs were cleaned)

I am familair with the process...Just don't know where to start as I have searched and seen some at 1.5 turns out from lightly seated, some at 1, some at 5/8.

I have the Service Manual LIT-18616-02-72, but can't seem to find it anywhere in it.

I realize all are different and individually sensitive....just looking for a starting point?

Anyone?

Thank's in advance,

Lucky

D indicates its an 05 production run, pilot air screws set at 5/8ths from lightly seated.
you may find it works better between 3/4 and 1.

Rodbolt,

Thanks once again for the help. I typed the wrong letter, it is a 2004....

Is there a difference between the 2004 and 2005?
