I have a 1996 Suzuki DT55 that has been running perfect for the last year. I had the fuel pump rebuilt and a new water impeller installed about 11 months ago. Took it out yesterday to pull the kids around the lake in a tube. Started the day fine, but about 30 minutes into the pulling the tube, noticed the motor sort of dropping rpm's and then going back up. By the end of the day the motor had no power when you applied the throttle. Seemed to idle fine and fast idle was good as well, it would get up on plane but seemed to have to build up to it. Before i put it on the trailer I took it out and ran it with no tube and it did better, but still was not running right. My plan right now is to do a compression check on it, beyond that I am not sure what I am looking for.
