I have a Suzuki 2 stroke 1990 dt 75 outboard. it idles great but on the first attempt to take off it does fine for 200 yards then rev light comes on and starts missing and white smoke starts coming out. tail tal has steady stream but luke warm. the top of the engine is hot. when i let it idel it light goes off enought to put on trailer. I brought it to a marine place 3 times and they changed water pump/impella a other things that didnt help. checked thermostat its ok. flushed with hose pipe. I need help not many people work on suzuki. I dont think it is a blown head gasket cause it doesnt over heat while idle. a technician said it could be the secondary pickup hole might be corroded for water pump. not sure what that is any help.
