cold natured suzuki dt 85

i have 1989 suzuki dt85 motor and the thing runs great but it's just cold natured.after you finally get it started you have to let it idle a minute or to before you take off no matter the temputure outside.once she is warm it runs great.any ideas on why it's so cold natured or what i can do to fix the problem?thanks benji

Sounds normal to me, all suzuki's I have is like that, only thing you can do is give the carb a good clean ....

thanks for the info!any idea where the tach hooks up on one mine ain't workin?
