Suzuki dt65 90 mod - how to disconnect shift shaft?

Hi!

I am trying to change the impeller on my DT65 1990 model, but I can`t find the place to disconnect the shift shaft. Can anyone help?

Is behind where I point the red arrow in the picture?

The manual says:
1. Place the shift selector in forward gear
2. Loosen the nut and disconnect the shift shaft from the shift linkage
3. Support the gearcase and remove all eight bolts that attach the gearcase to the drive shaft housing.

But I can`t find out where the shift shaft can be disconnected?

Where your arrow is pointing, at the back of that piece just below it, there will be a little opening where you will see the rod running up with a nut that you need to disconnect .....

I will try to disconnect later today. Hopefully I will find the nut you describe
