I have been looking for an answer for 2 weeks and I think I may have it. I just want to varify my findings. Motor sat in barn for 10 years, I got it and cleaned out 2 inches of lady bugs and mud wasp nest all over it. The guy started it for me, it was cold prior. Said he did not run more than a few min and it was not peeing at all. I found mud nest in pee hole and cleaned out and replaced water pump (the old one was still good as new). Pees fine only had tons of white smoke, not to smelly, found from boards it may be water leak in head gasket causing it. No discolored paint or any sign of overheating but me thinks cause of the mud the pressure in water area may have blown the head gasket just enough to let in enough water to cause white smoke. Am I correct?

PS the motor looks new as the day it was bought, not even a scratch.
Oh I got new gas, oil proper mix etc.

A blown head gasket can cause a lot of steam. Have you done a compression test? A blown gasket should show up there. Other possible ways that could allow water intrusion would also show up. A warped head is just one of them.
