I replaced the water pumps in my DF 140 outboards. Got it back together and one of the engines won't go into gear. Shift moves freely just doesn't engage. I think I had this happen to one of the engines last time but that was 2 years ago and I can't recall how I corrected it. Guessing the shift rod is out of line but what is the easiest way get it working again? Everything was in neutral when disassembled and reassembled. Thanks in advance for any advice.
