Engine not run faster than 2000 revs!
Green light on and plenty of oil. Water pump ok, nice jet stream out back. Does not seem to be overheating....no warning buzzer. [ Buzzer does work ]
Removed oil level float device. Per schematic, it has 2 internal switches.
Checked green wire to black , ground wire, and with float up / top...switch closes. this seems ok, as this probably controls green lite, to indicate adequate oil level? Tested other wire, green/redstripe and do not get any continuety
regardless of float up or down. If I deliberatly ground the green/red wire..[ an indication that am out of oil...buzzer DOES go on!
Is this float device defective? and how does it signal that oil level is ok and allow full throttle?
How does one check and / or set / or calibrate lever on oil injection pump?
