What Year Suzuki Dt50

I picked up a motor from one of the local E-mail postings. The owner did not have or provide any manuals/paperwork confirming model & year. The gentleman who sold me the motor stated it was a 1983 DT50EL. I just purchased a service manual off E-bay based on this information. I am hoping it was the right selection.

The transom mount/ plate information lists: 5001-305856
