I have a 1992 Suzuki 115 outboard that runs fine until its above 3/4 throttle then it starts to miss fire like maybe a bad stator assembly or CDI, I have cleaned the carbs. and changed the plugs but I hate to buy electronic parts that I don't need and can't return if its not the problem, anybody had this happen???

I would bet you have a fuel problem. If it was electrical it would be doing it all the time. Check your fuel pumps, fuel line, bulb and filter.

Hi
Suzuki's Electrics are extremely reliable. I agree it sounds like a fuel problem.
If you have a fuel filter in the fuel line as I do you might want to check that. Make sure there are no leaks in the fuel system. The fuel pump may need servicing.

I will add one more thing. Don't run the motor hard until you figure out what the problem is. These motors don't like being run lean. It will blow the powerhead. I would bet money it is a fuel problem.
