there is another post looking for your tiller handle. see if he has a controll box.
look on the side of your motor for a way to conect the wires from the control box. on newer motors it is a round plug with conections for ignition, start, warning buzzer, temp ect.
I think you just remove the tiller and everything atached. the shift and trottle levers should be on the side of the motor, ready for remote cables, if not you will need to find a junk motor to canibalize.
a 703 controller (side mount) comes with a cable that plugs in. the 704 controller (center console binical mount) does not as best as I know.
