Hello to all..
I have a 2004 Yamaha 4-Stroke 150. I have done a pressure test on it and it leaking at the propeller shaft oil seals. I am going to replace all seals and O-rings I'm starting with the propeller shaft oil seals and O-ring. I have already taken off the ring-nut and claw-washer.Next I want to pull propeller shaft housing. I put the Bearing housing puller and universal puller in place and started cranking down.It seemed like alot of pressure enough pressure to start spinning the drive shaft. Do I need to take the straight key out first? Or is there something else I need to take out first like the the oil seals? The manual does not mention anything. Any help on this would be Greatly appreciated. Thanks Todd Z.

Thanks for the reply. Well today i took out the shift rod and it still cannot get it out.I dont want to put too much pressure on it. It just seems like something is holding it back...Thanks T.Z.
