Suzuki 8hp outboard impeller

I have a friend whose outboard (above) started first pull just now after the winter lay-up, but no cooling water appeared.

I suspect an impeller problem (possibly vanes stuck in the pump and damaged) even though he says it was all perfect when last run. It has been regularly flushed through with fresh water after use so it's unlikely to have a salt build-up, but we have checked the 'pee-hole' just in case.

I have no problem stripping down O/B's normally but haven't come across this one before.

So my questions are, how do I remove the lower leg section on this model to get at the pump impeeler, is there a website that'll give me access to a workshop manual, or does anyone out there have a copy I could borrow and copy?

Thanks Justintime, have just checked their website and the on-line spare parts section shows the breakdown of components quite well.

Question now is, will the damn thing come apart after all these years!!
