Fuel System 40 HP Suzuki

1987 40 HP Suzuki. When running, fuel bulb shrinks(vacuum). I replaced fuel bulb and have same result. I have tried with vent open and closed on fuel tank. Any suggestion?

The pickup in the tank is probably clogged with debris. The engine is trying to suck fuel through the line and with a clog between the tank and the bulb, the bulb gets sucked flat.

Try running with the filler cap opened slightly. If the problem goes away, the vent may still be plugged even if you have it turned open.

I have tried with filler cap open. Same issue!

Then you have a clog between the pickup in the fuel tank and the bulb

Screen inside of gas tank fuel line was clogged. Ran great after cleaning. But only three redfish caught!
