Instructions for 6hp Yamaha 4 Stroke Carb Cleaning?

Can someone provide instructions or preferrably a pictorial guide to cleaning out the carb on a 6hp 4 Stroke? Does it require an overhaul kit from the dealer or simply a matter of draining it out and cleaning it? Mine is only a few years old with low hours, but I had some water in my fuel system and it will not idle.<br /><br />Thanks

usually if its just a water issue and it has not damaged the castings from sitting you can remove the carb,dissasemble it and spray it out well with carb cleaner and reassmble it. if any orings are cut or swelled they will have to be replaced. a service manual will have all the pics nessasary. its a simple carb though.
