I have a no cooling problem with my DT28, with the lower gear case removed and a pressure hose up the feed pipe, it circulates out the tell tale okay. The impeller is new and turns fine, but I just wondered about the connection between the impeller outlet feed and the leg pipe. Does anyone know whether this should have a rubber seal between the 2 ? - At the moment, the impeller metal connection just slides into the rising pipe - I would have thought rising water would escape from the sides ?? - Not sure on this one ? On the leg pipe, there seems to be some remains of some sort of seal - so suspect this may be the case, therefore no pressure to the head ?

Any help would be great !

Re: Suzuki Impeller casing feed outlet ?

originally there was a grommet to seal the impeller outlet to the water tube. if this lower has a sub-water inlet then it will have to be taped off to use the muffs.
