Suzuki DT50 Gearbox removal problems

I have a 1984 Suzuki DT50.<br />I have removed the lower leg to replace the water pump. While doing so I noticed that the drive selector shaft has come out of the lower leg (Gearbox). How do I go about re fitting it into the lower leg. Please help!!!!

hello<br /> this procedure will require prop shaft removal.. remove the prop shaft bearing carrier and prop shaft. I hope this is not a saltwater motor. buy a manual or take it to a suzuki dealer.
