I've been offered a well maintained '94 longshaft Suzuki 9.9hp with mounting bracket and low hrs. for $350. I have a Wellcraft 248 Sportsman that'll have a Yamaha 225 2 stroke for main power. Would the kicker motor be good deal? Is it good for moving around on a spot or trolling? Could it save on fuel once I've gotten to my fishin spot?

Glad to see everyone chimed in. My friend had the same boat with a 1996 9.9 on his welcraft. It moved the boat fairlywell for a little motor. make sure you get the good bracket or it wont take long to rust up. I think it was a good deal. i hope you wound up getting the kicker.
