A little oil is leaking from crankcase vent hole. I took it to the shop and they replaced every seal and it still leaks. I have ordered a manual and plan to fix it myself. What do I do or can you make a suggestion of the problem. Thanks very much.

Well I was told that the little hole on the lower unit was a vent hole. Is this not correct? It has a little oil seeping out of it.

hello<br /> there is a vent that is normally plugged for draining and filling the gear case. there are some holes for water drains for the pump and exhaust cavity area. what does the oil smell like. here is where a picture could say a thousand words. most the time when GEAR case oil is draining from a water drain it indicates a bad drive shaft seal or a bad shift shaft seal. if its waste fuel oil it can indicate an excessivly rich fuel/air mix.
