Do anyone have the service manual? Before I spend $60 I want to make sure it is worth it. How many pages, I am looking for a very detailed, schematics and full breakdown. Thanks

Re: Yamaha Service Manual

How many trips to a servicer for routine maintence that many people can perform themselves does it take to make back the $60 for the manual. The shop rate in our area is $65 per hour. Waiting times are 2 -6 weeks during peak times. The manuals are very complete, but they assume they are being used by a competent tech and do not show everything.

The service manual is well worth the $$. For no other reason that there is nothing else out there as detailed. Has complete step by step diagnostic instructions as well as very detailed wire layouts etc. If you are mechanically inclined and like to do your own work I would highly recommend buying the manual.
