Yamaha Acceleration Problems

I HAVE A YAMAHA 60 hp THAT WILL CUT-OUT AND NOT ACCELERATOR OR EVEN PLANE WHEN UNDER A HEAVY LOAD.<br /><br />THE ENGINE WILL CUTOUT AND ACT LIKE IT IS STARVING ABOUT 50% OF THE TIME WHEN 3 OR MORE PEOPLE ARE IN THE BOAT. IF YOU CONTINUE TO MILK THE ENGINE AT 3/4 THROTTLE FOR 2-5 MINUTES IT WILL WORK ITSELF OUT AND THEN BE OK FOR A WHILE. IT YOU PUSH FULL THROTTLE WHEN IT IS DOING THIS IT WILL COMPLETE CUT OUT, SHAKE AND DIE OUT. IT WILL THEN BE HARD TO START AND NOT IDLE RIGHT FOR 15-30 SECONDS. THEN IT WILL BE FINE FOR A WHILE AFTER IT DOES THIS. DEALER SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG, BUT OF COURSE THEY DON'T PUT IT IN THE WATER WITH 3 OR MORE ADULTS.

Hi,<br />Tell us what boat You have, the rpm at full throttle (when You actually get on plane) and what propeller You use (diam and pitch)<br /> http://www.yamaha-motor.com/accessories/acscitemdetail/8/17/266/5/1103/8460/All/1/3957/detail.aspx <br /><br />Also how do You place the passengers in the boat?<br />Maybe try to place one person more forward in the boat to help get on plane easier.<br />Do You have the outboard max trimmed in toward the transom when You are trying to accelerate to get on plane? And when You have reached on plane You can trim out gradually.
