Greetings, fellow boaters!<br />I have a 1980 DT 35 stripped down for major overhaul. It has been stored for more than 10 years. I have the manual on order, but have a couple of questions: What should the big end clearance be? It seems to me that the clearance I have is on the excessive side (about 2mm or .1"), but I have no experience with roller bearings on cranks. <br />Should it be possible to feel big end movement sideways, ie across the journal, not along it?<br />The main bearings seem tight, which make me even more worried about feeling slack in the big end bearings. <br /><br />Fair winds and following seas,<br />RustEater
