I bought a new Yamaha 115 shortblock powerhead at an auction. I'm trying to determine what years it will fit. It's got the 4 post stator mount + larger diameter (than '89 and earlier) crankshaft taper. The crate (I don't have) supposedly had # 6F3-W0090-18-4D. Block has #'s stamped on it 6N701 and 6E505.<br /> I understand that some change was made in '97. Are all 115's, '90 + up interchangeable? Thanks for any and all help!
