Suzuki 1993 DT 200 electronics

I have a 1993 carbuerated dt 200. I am trying to troubleshoot my electronics trim tilt and starter. I have power all the way to the relays but nothing comes out. The relays just click then stop after a few seconds.<br /><br />The fuses are ok the voltage is 12 at all three relays. the ground is ok since they share a common ground at the starter.<br /><br />Also I took the ignition key switch out and when I put it back in the guages and alarms worked for a couple minutes. Now none of the guages, starter or alarms work. <br /><br />Could all three relays go bad at once?

Not likely.<br /><br />Sounds to me like a bad ground.<br /><br />If you want to take the relays out of the equation, just short the positive wire coming in to going out side of the relay and see if you get a reaction. Make sure the short wire is decent sized and be careful when ya do it.<br />If you get the same result, I'd double check all my grounds.
