Yamaha VMAX 250 hp vs. Yamaha 4 stroke 225 hp

I have a 1994 23 foot Regulator that I need to have repowered. The boat yard says that the 2 stroke fuel injected VMAX is better than the 4 stroke.<br />Any feedback?

VMax 250 lighter and faster not to mention probably less expensive. Its really all a matter of personal preference.

Nathany pretty much said it all.go vmax now.still get two year warranty out of box.In 2006 you wont have to make this decision.Your smart going w/yamaha to begin with.Good luck.<br />sb.
