Suzuki 140 HP - Great Deal or Not???

I have been looking at a 1997 Johnson rebuit for $4,500. I just fell across this add http://www.boattraderonline.com/addetail.html?30652196 <br /><br />that says I can buy a new Suzuki 140 for $5,000? Is this deal too good to be true? What do people know about these engines?

Hi again,<br />I'm rebuilding a 96 90H.P. suzi in the shop right now. It seems like a very simple and well put together engine. Simple to work on, but I'll see how hard parts are to come by. I've herd some say on this board that it's almost impossable to get parts. 5k seems resonable to me,however I've not been pricing them.

$5000 for brand new 2001 DT140??? that's an insanely good deal. If it's for real and there is a decent local suzuki dealer in your area I'd buy it in a heart beat.
