1993 Suzuki 115

I have an opportunity to pick up a 1993 17 Ft Stratos Bass Boat with 115 HP Suzuki in trade for a 1989 18 ft Sunbird Bowrider with 3.0 L OMC Cobra. Stratos is in slightly better apparent condition, but I am not very familiar with Suzuki reliability. Would you guys or girls trade it ? Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated.

Cooork,<br /><br />The DT115 and DT140 are virtually the same engines.<br /><br />I had a DT140 (1995).<br /><br />It was:<br /><br />1. Thirsty.<br />2. Reliable.<br />3. Well built.<br />4. A little under powered for a 140. The 115 may be fine.<br />5. Heavy-408 pounds.<br /><br />The only thing I found was that the Mikuni carbs. on it could be a bit finicky. If I left any fuel in them for any length of time, they would gum up-high speed jets.
