Yamaha 90 hp lower unit

My motor has a horizontal crack about 4in long from the prop fwd on the lower unit. I had it welded once but it opened up. Can I just replace the housing or do I have to buy a new or rebuilt lower unit?

Keith,<br /><br /> I believe you can get a new housing but generally speaking, you can find a used lower unit cheaper.<br /><br /> I have one for a Yammie 90hp which I may sell, so keep me in mind.<br /><br />John
