Got a new 4 stroke Suzuki and looking on opinions on what fuel to use, non ethanal or not? Also, does the Suzuki motor oil differ from the other brands or just go strictly Suzuki? All thoughts and suggestions welcome. thanks

New as in brand new or new to you? Which Suzuki?

The motor is probably made to use E-10 as are most motors in the past few years.

Suzuki doesn't refine any oil, they buy from the refiners and put Suzuki on the label and then charge more. Use oil with the same specs Suzuki oil.

if boat will sit near water for long periods of time without being run, I would stay away from E 10.
defiantly use a marine grade oil

This is from my Suzuki DF140 manual.

ENGINE OIL
Use only oils that are rated SE, SF, SG, SH, or SJ under the
API (American Petroleum Institute) classification system.
The viscosity rating should be SAE 10W-40

GEAR OIL

Suzuki Outboard Motor Gear Oil or SAE #90
Hypoid gear oil

From my manual:

FUEL AND OIL
GASOLINE RECOMMENDATION
Suzuki highly recommends that you use alcohol-free unleaded
gasoline with a minimum pump octane rating of 87 (R+M / 2
method) or 91 (Research method). However, blends of unleaded
gasoline and alcohol with equivalent octane content may be
used.
Allowable maximum blend of a single additive (not combination)
:
5% Methanol, 10% Ethanol, 15% MTBE
